Ollie Becker (formerly Olivia W-B) is a composer, guitarist, and vocalist based out of Boston.

Current projects include:

vocals in noise rock band Rong;

guitar and vocals in experimental grind band Obsolescence Technician;

composing for chamber groups including a recent commission for Subject to Change: New Works for Violin Duo, a project of the Magari Ensemble;

composing and leading Premium Velvet Headache Pillow, an ensemble that combines influences from new music, experimental metal and free jazz;

and solo guitar.

In spring 2024 they were awarded a Mass Cultural Council Grant for Creative Individuals. In August 2024 they participated in the Jazz and Sonic Arts residency at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and in September 2024 they participated in the Creative Music Intensive hosted by the Australian Art Orchestra. In November 2024 they were in residence at the Prattsville Art Center in upstate NY working on a duo guitar album in collaboration with Edward Longo.

From 2021 to 2023 they helped organize the experimental music and art series FIND OUT in Jamaica Plain, MA. In 2021 they served as the Artistic Director of the Anarchestra Foundation, running interactive exhibits at two arts spaces in Greenfield, MA. Since fall 2023 they have been assistant engineering at New Alliance Audio in Somerville, MA.
